About Our President & Founder

Ryan Darby, an attorney turned entrepreneur, rededicated his career to fostering community development over courtroom disputes. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Ryan pursued his bachelor’s degree at the University of California, San Diego, and later earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law. His legal career saw him navigating diverse cases from landlord-tenant disputes to free speech advocacy.

Ryan began shifting his focus to commercial real estate, captivated by its creative and transformative potential. During this time, he engaged with industry experts to learn about the intricacies, opportunities, and challenges of commercial real estate. He deepened his expertise by earning a certificate in Real Estate Finance, Investments, and Development from the University of San Diego’s Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate.

At Quintessential Capital, Ryan’s philosophy is straightforward: collaborate with top-tier contractors, engineers, and architects to create superior facilities for small businesses and robust returns for investors.
